Our camera bird boxes come with a standard 32mm entrance hole, which is good for most of the popular garden species, and will in our opinion give the best chance of nesting taking place in the box.
 
This hole plate allows you to restrict the camera nest box to the smaller hole nesting species, and ensures that woodpeckers, squirrels etc cannot make the hole larger.
 
  • 60 mm x 60 mm (approx) square coated metal plate with 4 fixing holes
  • Fixing screws provided
  • Easily and simply fits to front of camera bird box
  • Looks good on the nest box
  • 28 mm (approx) diameter entrance hole
  • Hole size preferred Tree Sparrows, Great Tits and Crested Tits
  • Sometimes used by smaller birds such as Blue Tit, Coal Tit, Marsh Tit, Treecreeper
  • Will not be used by larger birds
